Cleaning flagstonemortor residue

Cleaning Flagstone(mortor residue)

We're laying a flagstone patio a few of the stones are dull. I think that I screwed up wiped a rag across them that had been used for cleaning mortor off the edges it left a very thin bit of mortor on the rocks. I wiped wiped but when they dry they're dull again any ideas how I can get them back to their clean, pretty selves again??? Jackie Hi Jackie, You could use phosphoric acid or muriatic acid. Best to go with the former. Take a look here. http://www.naturalhandyman.com/iip/infxtra/infmur.shtm Newt
