Replace High Intensity Headlights On A Mazda 6

Replace High Intensity Headlights on a Mazda 6

If the high intensity headlights on your Mazda 6 are broken or burnt out, you need to replace them. The Mazda 6 headlight assembly contains four headlight bulbs. The one located second from the first bulb that is closest to the grille is the high beam headlight. The design on the Mazda 6 headlight makes replacing this bulb a simple task. Expect to spend less than 30 minutes changing the high beam headlight.

Instructions

1. Turn off your Mazda 6 and prop open the hood. Wait 30 minutes to replace the high intensity headlight if it had been turned on and is hot.

2. Look behind the headlight assembly for the headlight cover second from the one closest to the center grille. Twist the cover counterclockwise to remove it.

3. Pull the high intensity headlight out of the socket and insert the replacement.

4. Replace the high intensity headlight cover.
