Read on to learn make marshmallow and popcorn brain balls.

Instructions

1. Put butter in a medium saucepan and heat until butter melts. Carefully stir the butter around in the pan to help it melt. Slowly add the marshmallows a few at a time and stir constantly until all marshmallows have been added and they have all melted and formed a gooey smooth mixture.

2. Transfer the marshmallow mixture to a medium mixing bowl prepared by rubbing a small amount of butter around the inside. Now begin to add the popcorn a little at a time and stir to coat with the marshmallow mixture. Continue adding the popcorn until the mass in the bowl is not so gooey that you can't form balls. Add popcorn until the mixture will hold into ball shapes. Take a small amount of the mixture in pre-buttered hands and form into balls. Make sure you allow the mixture to cool enough to handle without burning yourself.

3. Place the balls on a buttered cookie sheet and allow further cooling. Once the popcorn balls have cooled, you can begin decorating them. Make a thin syrup of powdered sugar and water and add a few drops of food coloring. Now spread small amounts of this onto the balls. Attempt to make it appear like small veins of blood on the brain mass.
