Make Butter Pancakes

Butter Pancakes

Pancakes are a favorite food in many households. Many people enjoy pancakes not only for breakfast, but for other meals as well. Experiment with a basic pancake recipe, and then create almost infinite variations that will be interesting and delicious for the whole family to enjoy. Using butter in a pancake recipe will result in a pancake that is light, fluffy and full of flavor.

Instructions

1. Beat the egg in a medium-size bowl. Pour in the buttermilk and honey and beat well to fully mix the three ingredients.

2. Combine the dry ingredients in a small bowl and mix them well. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and beat the mixture well.

3. Pour the melted butter over the pancake batter and stir in.

4. Preheat a griddle to medium-high for several minutes. Test the heat by sprinkling a drop of water onto the hot griddle. If the water sizzles, the griddle is hot enough.

5. Turn the griddle heat down to medium. Pour a small amount of batter onto the griddle to make one pancake. The pancake will spread out as it cooks, so start with it slightly smaller than your desired pancake size. Make as many pancakes as will fit on the griddle surface.

6. Wait several minutes. Watch the pancakes, and when bubbles begin to appear on the tops of the pancakes, slide the spatula under a pancake and flip it quickly. Flip each pancake.

7. Cook the pancakes for several minutes on the second side. Flip a pancake over to see how browned it is. If it is lightly brown, remove the pancakes from the griddle and place them on a platter to serve.
