Make Asian Beef Stew

There are times when you feel like having some Asian cuisine but just hate to get take-out. This recipe will allow you to make your own Asian meal at home. This recipe is so easy. Just throw the ingredients into the crock pot and forget it. This meal will make you feel like you picked up some Chinese food on your way home from work.

Asian Beef Stew


1. Turn crock pot on high and set for six hours. Place onions, garlic, beef, carrots and mushrooms into the crock pot.








2. Combine orange juice, beef broth, soy sauce, ginger ale, ginger, curry powder and corn starch into a small bowl. Mix until all spices and corn starch are incorporated into the liquid. Pour liquid over meat and vegetables in the crock pot.


3. A half an hour before the crock pot is set to finish cooking, put the peas into the stew and re-cover the pot to finish cooking. Also, put water into a small saucepan over high heat to boil. Once boiling, place in instant rice. Boil for 10 minutes, then turn off heat.


4. When crock pot is finished, pour rice over serving tray. Spoon beef stew over rice. Top stew with scallions. Serve hot.
