Make Crockpot Meatballs

Crock pot meatballs require minimal preparation time. Make crock pot meatballs before leaving for work in the morning, and come home to an easy dinner. Use meatballs in a variety of meals such as spaghetti or meatball sandwiches. Cooking meatballs all day in sauce and seasonings increases the rich flavor of the meatballs.

Instructions

1. Place ground beef in a mixing bowl. Use your hands to crumble the ground beef.

2. Cut the garlic clove and medium onion. Dice them into small pieces that will easily conform to the shape of the meatballs. Place the diced onion and garlic on top the beef.

3. Add breadcrumbs, parsley, chili powder and 1 egg to the ground beef. Use your hands or a spatula to combine all of the ingredients. Mix the ingredients until they're distributed well into the beef.

4. Set the crock pot on the low setting. Combine the spaghetti sauce and diced tomatoes in the crock pot.

5. Separate the meat into equal portions. Roll a ground beef portion into a ball with your hands. Ensure that the meatball is smooth, and that the meat forms tightly into a ball.

6. Add the meatballs to the crock pot. Cook them for six to eight hours on the low setting, or four hours on high.

7. Remove the meatballs. Serve them immediately, while they are still hot.
