Make Shrimp With Curry Sauce

Serve your curry dish in a bowl over rice.

If you're craving an exotic and spicy dish for dinner, make homemade shrimp with curry sauce for your family. The curry sauce features a coconut milk base and is flavored with a variety of spices and fresh ingredients, such as herbs and lime juice. Use high-quality jumbo shrimp for the best flavor and to enhance the creamy curry sauce. Serve the sauce over a bed of steamed aromatic jasmine rice for a tasty treat.

Instructions

1. Cover the bottom of a medium nonstick saucepan with olive oil and warm it over medium-high heat. Saute red pepper and green onions in the oil until soft.

2. Reduce the heat to medium. Add curry paste to the pan and heat until fragrant. Pour coconut milk and lime juice into the pan and blend all of the ingredients with a wooden spoon. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes or until it is thick.

3. Sprinkle mint and cilantro into the pan and blend. Add jumbo shrimp and adjust the heat to medium-high. Cook the shrimp, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes or until they are cooked through.

4. Serve the curry immediately over a bed of hot rice.
