Make Strawberry Cobbler

This recipe for strawberry cobbler is quick and easy, which makes it perfect for a large barbecue or Sunday dinner.

Instructions


1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.








2. To make the strawberry sauce, combine sugar with the cornstarch and water in a medium saucepan.


3. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Add strawberries, and remove from heat.


4. Pour strawberry sauce into a 2-quart baking dish and set aside.


5. To make the dumplings, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.


6. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or 2 butter knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gently stir in water until just combined.


7. Dollop spoonfuls of the flour mixture over the top of the strawberry sauce and for 25 minutes or until the dumplings are golden brown.
