Create A New Nonalcoholic Shot

You're having a party and know many of your friends don't drink alcohol. But you don't want them to feel left out of the fun of drinking shots. Luckily, you can create your own non-alcoholic shots.

Instructions

1. Know the mixers commonly used in shots. Common non-alcoholic mixers include gelatin, juices, sodas and basic mixers. Go to your liquor or grocery store and grab a handful.

2. Try many non-alcoholic shots so you can learn what makes a good shot and what makes a bad one. Learn the recipes and the quantities.

3. Start experimenting. Mix together 2 mixers you wouldn't normally put together. Write down what mixers you used and how much you used. Taste them and note what you liked and didn't like.

4. Tweak the recipe. Try more of one mixer and less of another. See how much the flavor changed.

5. Look at the color of the drink. Nobody's going to want to drink an ugly looking shot or a shot that reminds them of the color of bodily functions (unless it's a Halloween party).

6. Have some fun with garnishes. Add lemons, limes, cherries or tiny orange slices to your non-alcoholic shots to make them more special.

7. Add ice to your non-alcoholic shots and try blending them in a blender to create truly unique concoctions.
