The holidays are back and you have sent out the invitations to your party. You need to make some festive holiday drinks. Read these instructions to learn make festive "holiday" Margaritas.
Instructions
1. Get some clear glass cups. You will serve the drinks in clear cups so people can see the color of the drink through the glass.
2. Find clear margarita mix. The clearer the better.
3. Buy different kinds of skittles. Try buying the typical red packet and one other kind.
4. Assemble the ingredients. You need two different packs of skittles, clear glasses, a blender, clear margarita mix, tequila and ice.
5. Mix the margarita. Fill the blender with ice. Pour in 2 parts margarita mix for every 1 part tequila. Fill the liquid to the top of the ice in the blender. Mix until the ice is completely crushed and you have a "blended margarita".
6. Add the color. Use the skittles to color the drinks. You have two choices. Your first choice is to toss a few skittles of the same festive color [green for Christmas, Blue for Hanukah, etc] into the blender and mix again. To increase the color, toss more skittles into the blender. Your second choice is to toss a few skittles into each individual glass to create "personal" holiday colored margaritas. 7. Pass the drinks out. Congratulations, with a few skittles you have turned a regular margarita into a festive holiday drink.
