Cut Peanut Butter & Jelly Finger Sandwiches

Peanut butter and jelly finger sandwichs are easy for small kids to handle.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are easy to make, even for very small children as long as they are supervised. The nutritious salty and sweet sandwich satisfies the sweet tooth and the savory tooth and is a frequent lunch or snack option for many children. Cutting the whole sandwiches down to finger sandwiches helps little ones grasp the sandwich in smaller hands. Finger sandwiches are also daintier than whole sandwiches when included with tea.

Instructions

Triangle Quarters

1. Place the peanut butter and jelly sandwich on the cutting board.

2. Place the knife across the sandwich diagonally and cut through from corner to corner.

3. Place the knife diagonally in the opposite direction, corner to corner, and cut through. The sandwich is now in four small triangle shapes.

Square Quarters

4. Place the sandwich on the cutting board.

5. Cut the sandwich in half crosswise.

6. Cut each half in half lengthwise. This creates four square sandwich portions.

Stick Quarters

7. Place the sandwich on the cutting board.

8. Cut the sandwich in half, either lengthwise or crosswise.

9. Cut each half in the same direction again, making four long cuts.
