Make Asian Baked Chicken

Make Asian Baked Chicken

Chicken is delicious, but it can be somewhat bland if not seasoned properly. Asian baked chicken blends Asian spices with the healthiness of baked fowl. Making Asian baked chicken is neither difficult nor expensive. In just a few short hours, you can prepare, cook and serve your family a mouthwatering meal.

Instructions

1. Cut the onion, bell pepper and garlic cloves into small pieces. Pour the oil in the pan and add the vegetables. Cook on medium until softened. If you don't want to bake the chicken whole, cut it into pieces now.

2. Add the honey, soy sauce, vinegar and ginger powder to the bowl. Put the cooked vegetables in the bowl with the honey mixture. Whisk all the items until blended.

3. Rinse the chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Put the whole chicken into the bowl and rub the marinade all over it. Leave the chicken in the bowl and cover with a lid or aluminum foil.

4. Let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for an hour, turning after 30 minutes. You can marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

5. Take the chicken out of the fridge and place it, breast-side down, in a baking pan. Pour the leftover marinade all over the chicken and into the baking pan.

6. Cover the chicken with aluminum foil and place in the oven. Let cook for 45 minutes and then take the aluminum foil off the pan. Cook for 15 more minutes.

7. Remove the baking pan from the oven and let the chicken rest for about 10 minutes. Cut up the chicken and serve.
