Make Citrus Salad Dressing

Citrus Salad Dressing

Making homemade salad dressing is a great way to infuse extra flavor to your salads. This recipe creates a sweet and tangy citrus-based vinaigrette dressing for use with any salad ideas. It's light and refreshing and tastes great tossed into a bowl full of mixed salad greens. It can also be used as a marinade for chicken or fish, and is fantastic drizzled on top of grilled vegetables such as asparagus, zucchini or broccoli.

Instructions

1. Add the pink grapefruit juice, lemon juice, ginger root, white wine vinegar, salt and honey to a small glass mixing bowl.

2. Whisk the ingredients in the bowl together.

3. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously.

4. Use the dressing immediately to dress a bowl full of mixed salad greens.

5. If the dressing isn't being used immediately, place it in a small storage container with a tight-fitting lid. The salad dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
