Make Chicken Breast Into Cutlets

Making chicken breast into cutlets can easily be done once you know the technique. It can come in handy when you want to make a meal with cutlets and only have chicken breasts in the house. Make Chicken Breast Into Cutlets


1. Place the chicken breast on top of the cutting board with your hand laying flat on top of it.








2. Using a large, sharp knife, cut the chicken breast in half so you're slicing parallel to the cutting board.








3. Stop cutting when you're 1/4-inch from the opposite side.


4. Open the piece of chicken like you would with a book.


5. Place a sheet of wax paper on top of a cutting board or other safe work surface. Place one slice of chicken on top of that, and then lay another piece of wax paper over the slice of chicken.


6. Pound the slice of chicken with a meat mallet or rolling pin so that it is evenly 1/4 inch thick throughout the whole piece.
