Make Easy Chicken Philly Sandwiches

Just like Philly cheese steak sandwiches, chicken Philly sandwiches are served on a long roll with piles of green peppers, onions and cheese. However, the sandwich maker can incorporate or remove ingredients to make something new and personal. This recipe makes 6 to 8 servings.

Instructions

1. Dice the chicken into small cubes. Fry them in a small amount of olive oil in a large frying pan. Sprinkle a little garlic salt on chicken and brown on all sides This should take approximately 4 to 5 minutes per side. Cook until there is no pink in the chicken whatsoever.

2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Slice the onion and peppers, then fry them in the oil until they are golden brown. Add the vegetables to the chicken and cook them all for a few minutes over medium heat.

3. Transfer 1 cup of the chicken and vegetable mixture to a small pan. Turn the stove on medium heat and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the chicken, onion, peppers, and mushroom mixture.

4. Spread mayonnaise on the sub roll. Using a spatula, transfer the combined ingredients into the sub roll. Press the food down into the roll.
