Make Parmesan Bread

This Parmesan bread recipe is a spinoff of the typical garlic bread recipe. The bread is easy to make and the recipe requires only a few ingredients. It takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes to make. Serve it with your favorite pasta or soup.

Instructions

1. Locate the parsley, butter, Parmesan cheese and French bread. Make sure you have everything out and at your disposal.

2. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. You want to make sure to do this step before you prepare the bread.

3. Slice your loaf of French bread in half.

4. Butter the bread. If you are using margarine, you’re good to go. If you’re using real butter, soften it in the microwave. Put the butter in a glass bowl and heat for 15 seconds. The butter should be soft but not melted. Spread a generous amount of butter onto the bread halves.

5. Sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese on the bread. The more cheese you apply, the cheesier your bread will be.

6. Sprinkle a little bit of parsley on the bread. You want to use the parsley sparingly because if too much is used, it can be overwhelming.

7. Put the bread in the oven. Place the 2 bread halves on top of a metal cookie pan. Set a timer for 15 minutes. Depending on how toasted you want your bread, you’ll either take it out or leave it in a few minutes longer.

8. Allow your bread to cool for approximately 10 minutes. Then slice your bread into wedges. Serve with your favorite pasta, soup or eat it by itself.
