Make Berry Desserts

Berry desserts are the perfect ending to a meal on a hot summer's day. Berries are readily available everywhere in the summer time and you can always find fresh ones in abundance at your local grocery store. Follow these guidelines to make berry desserts.

Instructions

1. Puree strawberries in a blender or food processor. When they are liquefied mix them with some lemonade and pour it over ice. You now have strawberry lemonade.

2. Cut strawberries into thin slices and place on angel food cake cups. Top them with some whipped cream to make strawberry shortcakes.

3. Wash and cut strawberries. Mix with strawberry glaze mix, pour into a graham cracker crust and cover with whipped cream. Refrigerate for two hours and you now have an easy strawberry pie that does not require baking.

4. Top vanilla ice cream with fresh berries. Puree some additional berries and pour over the top of the ice cream to make a delicious ice cream dessert for a hot day.

5. Combine fresh berries with a berry-flavored Jello gelatin packet. Add two cups of boiling water and allow it to sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or until set. You have made a fresh fruit Jello dessert.

6. Mix together a variety of berries and combine with whipped cream. Top with chopped walnuts to make a very tasty fruit salad.
