German Restaurants In New Braunfels Texas

Founded in 1845 by a German prince, New Braunfels, Texas has long been a center of German culture and cuisine. This small city in the Texas hill country boasts a number of German restaurants, which range from the elegant to the down-home. It also has an extensive selection of German wines and beers.


Friesenhaus serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in an atmosphere of casual elegance, with live German music in the evening. As of September 2010, prices range from $3.99 to $12.75 for breakfast, and from $10.75 to $34.75 for lunch and dinner entrees, with most dishes in the $14 to $18 range.
