You don't have to be a scientist, a wine connoisseur or even a cook to whip this homemade wine into a gorgeous bouquet. While the ingredients list is short, the brew time is a little on the long side. Be patient--it's worth the wait.
Instructions
1. Combine one can of juice concentrate with sugar in a saucepan, and boil until sugar is dissolved. Add one package yeast to the mixture.
2. Pour those ingredients into a jug, and add cold water to fill the jug.
3. Rinse a large balloon out with water to get the inside as clean as possible.
4. Place the balloon over the mouth of the jug and secure it tightly with a rubber band.
5. Put the jug in a cool, dark place.
6. Check the brew daily. As the sugar turns into alcohol, the balloon fills with the gases. As it continues to ferment, the balloon deflates.
7. Remove the balloon when it has deflated, usually after about 6 weeks to 2 months. Strain the wine using cheesecloth to remove any yeast or sugar chunks, and store in a jug with lid.
