Make Pretzels With Hershey Kisses

Few people can resist the sweet and salty flavor combination of chocolate and pretzels. Dipping pretzels in chocolate is an arduous and messy project that few care to attempt. Achieve the same taste sensation with the "kiss" method of making chocolate-covered pretzels, without all the trouble and mess.

Instructions

Oven Method

1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Spread pretzel rings on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Make sure the pretzels do not touch each other.

3. Place an unwrapped Hershey's Kisses in the center of each pretzel ring.

4. Heat the Hershey's Kisses and pretzel rings for four to six minutes, until the chocolate is soft. The chocolate will hold its shape even when soft, so press down on one with the back of a spoon to determine if they are ready.

5. Press an M&M's into the center of each kiss immediately upon removing the cookie sheet from the oven.

6. Allow the chocolate to cool completely and harden. Put them in the refrigerator for ten minutes to speed the process.

Microwave Method

7. Arrange six pretzels on a microwave-safe plate so they are not touching each other.

8. Place an unwrapped Hershey's Kisses in the center of each pretzel ring.

9. Microwave the Kisses and pretzel rings for 45 seconds. The chocolate will hold its shape even when soft, so press down on one with the back of a spoon to determine if they are ready.

10. Press an M&M's into the center of each Kisses immediately on removing the plate from the microwave.

11. Allow the chocolate to cool completely and harden. Put them in the refrigerator for ten minutes to speed the process.
