Cheese Cream Wrap Recipe

Ham and Cream Cheese Wrap

Cream cheese is one of those foods that don't need anything added to make it taste good. It's great all by itself. With all the different flavors of cream cheese you can purchase nowadays, they've only made a good thing taste better. Take some tortillas, add a few ingredients, including cream cheese, and you've got a simple, good-tasting appetizer. Making a cream cheese wrap isn't difficult at all.

Gathering the Ingredients

When making cream cheese wraps, you can let your imagination go wild. It's basically up to your own personal taste. This is a simple recipe that makes a great appetizer to take to parties.

You'll need one small tub of spreadable cream cheese. For this recipe, use the green onion/chive flavored variety. You will also need a package of tortillas, a bunch of green onions and approximately one half pound of sliced ham.

Starting Your Wrap

Wash the green onions and chop them into fine pieces. If you don't have green onions in the house, you can also use regular onions diced finely. Spread a light layer of cream cheese over the entire surface of your tortilla. You will then sprinkle a small amount of onions on top of the cream cheese. Then place the slices of ham on top of the onions. You can use any type of ham when making this recipe.

Wrapping and Slicing

Once you've added all of the ingredients to your wrap, it's time to roll it up. Start at one end and fold it over slightly so you can begin rolling. When you're done wrapping, it will be long and tubular, with all the ingredients encased inside. To serve the wrap as an appetizer, slice it into round, one inch pieces so people can pick them up and pop them into their mouths.
