Make Rubbing Alcohol Based Glow Face Paint

Face paints give you the ability to create intricate designs and looks to accommodate a theme or costume. When you know make your own face paints you are better able to blend your own colorful creations. Knowing make a glow-in-the-dark face paint with rubbing alcohol only requires a few easy-to-obtain materials. An alcohol based face paint is applied with a brush, giving you the ability to add precise lines of glow in the dark paint.


Instructions


1. Add the iridescent pearl pigment and glow-in-the-dark mica pigment to the mixing bowl. These materials are found online or in craft or hobby supply shops. Stir the powders together to pre-blend them.








2. Add the rubbing alcohol one drop at a time as you mix the pigments together. This creates a dark sludgy mixture.


3. Stir in the coconut carrier oil. This oil addition is used to help the face paint glide on for ease of application.








4. Stir briskly for one minute to fully blend the contents of the bowl. Cover with a square of clear cling-wrap and sit under a bright light for at least two hours before applying. This charges it for glowing in the dark later.
