Make Good Fried Chicken

Fried chicken is a staple in most people's homes. It's a simple dish that has been served for generations and generations. There are some things you can do to make your fried chicken better than ever.

Instructions

1. Take out your chicken to thaw if it hasn't been done already. The best way is to leave your chicken in the refrigerator over night. If you don't have the time you can zap them in the microwave. Most microwave's have a defrost chicken button. Watch your chicken carefully so you don't start cooking it in the microwave.

2. Get your first mixing bowl. Add your flour and Italian dressing mix together and combine thoroughly.

3. Get your second mixing bowl and add your eggs and milk. Beat them together and place the bowl next to the flour and Italian dressing mix bowl.

4. Fill your frying pan 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch with oil. Turn the stove knob to high heat. When the oil is completely heated you are ready to begin.

5. Take your chicken pieces one at a time and dip them first in to the milk and egg mixture. Coat them completely and then dip them in to the dry mix bowl. Do this a second time and then place the chicken pieces in to the hot oil.

6. Cook your chicken pieces for about 25 to 30 minutes, turning half way through. Remove from the oil and allow excess oil to drain off of the chicken before serving.
