Make Healthy Lemon Pepper Tilapia







Looking for a healthy recipe for tilapia that tastes great and plates beautifully? How about a recipe that's also quick, easy and homemade? Achieve the perfect lemon pepper tilapia with a homemade spice blend that's easy to throw together. It coats the fish well and cooks to a golden color that looks great on a plate. The seasoning blend is great on any fish and works for chicken or pork chops as well.


Instructions


1. Combine all dry spices in a shallow pan or dish (a pie plate works well).


2. Coat filets with the spice blend evenly on all sides.


3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, and spray generously with nonstick spray.


4. Place filets in the skillet and cook for at least 3 minutes without moving. While fish is cooking, drizzle lemon juice over filets. Flip filets and cook for approximately 2 to 3 minutes longer or until fish is flaky and white with a golden exterior. Drizzle with more lemon juice.


5. Remove from heat and plate fish. Top with freshly chopped green onions if desired, and serve along side a salad for healthy and delicious meal.
