Pat's Downtown


Pat's Downtown is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as Friday night. Pat's serves po' boys, sandwiches, wraps and salads, though the real soul food dishes can be found on its ever changing daily specials. T-Coons, owned and operated by David Billeaud, was started in Lafayette in 1993, and specializes in what Billeaud likes to call Zydeco cuisine, which is a mixture of creole and cajun soul food. Everything at T-Coon's is homemade, with plenty of Louisiana flavor. In addition to soul food dishes such as fried catfish, pork chops, rice and vegetables, T-Coon's also branches out into breakfast dishes such as omelets, beignets, smoked turkey breast and grits.
