Make Barbecued Beef Short Ribs In A Crock Pot

For those of you with busy lives who have little or no time to cook (isn't that all of us?), a crock pot can be a great investment. A crock pot makes cooking simple and drastically reduces time spent laboring in the kitchen. It will keep you from eating out too often and save you money.

Here is a quick and easy recipe for the crock pot. It's barbequed beef short ribs. For a change-up, try the same recipe with pork ribs. Both are falling-off-the-bone delicious.

Instructions

1. Toss ribs, wine and water into crock pot. Salt and pepper for added flavor (optional).

2. Pour Worcestershire sauce evenly over meat.

3. Pour your favorite barbeque sauce (I like Stubb's Original) over the top of the ribs and cover crock pot.

4. Cook on low setting for about eight hours. Individual pots vary. Check crock pot every so often--you may need to add a bit of water now and then.

5. Serve with Ranch Style Beans. A little of the juices from the pot of ribs really adds great flavor to the beans!
