Make Pretzel Turtles

In today's busy world, finding time to bake is a rarity. Faced with an endless array of dinner parties and socials, we often resort to purchasing pre-made goods. The personal touch of homemade sweets disappears in an effort to save time. A quick and easy alternative to this dilemma is to make pretzel turtles--a delectable blend of caramel and chocolate with a salty pretzel bite. The three-ingredient candy recipe is simple and the results are delicious.

Instructions

Make Pretzel Turtles

1. Cover the cookie pan with the cookie sheet, then preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place square pretzels an inch apart on the cookie sheet. Unwrap the candies and place one on top of each pretzel square.

3. Place the pan in the oven for 3 to 4 minutes.

4. Remove the pan from the oven and quickly place pecan halves on top of the candies. Gently press the pecan into the chocolate-covered caramel candies to form a thick layer of caramel chocolate covering the pretzel.

5. Let the turtles cool. Once they have set, remove from cookie sheet and enjoy.
