Make Cinema Popcorn

Popcorn

Popcorn is the type of food you just have to eat when you watch a movie. You can buy some microwaveable popcorn for home movies, but it just isn't the same as the cinema's popcorn. Cinema popcorn contains more salt and butter than normal popcorn, which means that it isn't that hard to make at home.

Instructions

1. Set up your popcorn machine on a table or countertop. Make sure you have room to fit a bowl underneath of the spout.

2. Place the kernels in the popcorn machine and turn it on. As the kernals pops, popcorn will fall out into your bowl. You will need 2 cups of popcorn per person so keep adding kernels until you have the amount you need for yourself and your guests.

3. Melt 3/4-cup of butter per person in the microwave. Pour it over the cooked popcorn and toss with your hands or with a pair of tongs.

4. Sprinkle a layer of salt over the top of your popcorn bowl. Toss the popcorn again and give one more coat of salt.

5. Place the popcorn in the individual brown lunch bags and serve hot.
