Buy A Spice Grinder

If you're a gourmet cook, or just want to have sea salt and fresh peppercorns ground at each meal, you need a spice grinder. Spice grinders come in a variety of shapes and styles, each one with a little different twist.

Instructions

1. Decide what you want to use the grinder for. Some heavy duty spice grinders can accommodate firmer items, such as nuts, without a problem, while others are best for delicate operations.

2. Choose whether electric is best or a hand grinder. There are a variety of spice grinders on the market to choose from. The electric ones are the fastest and easiest on the muscles. However, if you're grinding spices at the table when you serve, you'll want a hand grinder.

3. Find the spice grinder that is the best fit in your price range. Some spice grinders will range over $150 dollars and others around $10. The more expensive ones are usually multipurpose and can grind a variety of items.

4. Match your decor. If the spice grinder is to be on the table when you serve guests, matching the room decor can be an elegant touch. Early American furnishings and exquisite china demands a little different grinder than ultra modern furnishings.

5. Check to see if it will store easily. If it's an electric model, see if the cord can be hidden or wound. Also see if the product disassembles for easier storage.
