Bake Low Carb Cookies

Bake Low Carb Cookies

Low-carb dieting is a great way to lose weight, but it requires dieters to forgo almost all sweets and bread-based foods. As a result, maintaining results can be difficult because there is little room for slipping before the pounds pile back on. If you miss dessert more than you can stand, try substituting delicious low-carb treats for the traditional cakes or cookies. In this article, we will discuss bake low-carb cookies.

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Stir together almond flour and cooking-friendly sugar substitute. Make sure that the two ingredients are completely mixed before you move on to the next step.

3. Mix in butter, egg and vanilla. Blend all the ingredients until there are no lumps and the batter is smooth and uniform in color.

4. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray. This will make the cookies easy to remove when they are done baking.

5. Use the spoons to form 1-inch balls. Scoop a spoonful of cookie dough with one spoon and then push it off the bowl of the spoon with the other spoon. This will result in round cookie balls on the cookie sheet.

6. Place the balls about 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. As they bake, the cookies will spread slightly. This prevents them from turning into one big cookie.

7. Flatten each ball with the fork. Press down on the top of a cookie ball with the tines of the fork, then do the same thing in the other direction to make a pretty cross-hatch pattern on the top of the cookie.

8. Bake for 8 minutes. The cookies are done when they are set but not brown. Once they have cooled, enjoy!
