Instructions
Let's Cook Some Frozen Broccoli
1. In a large pot place 4 cups of hot water and the 2 tsp of salt. Bring the water to a rolling boil. The salt will bring out the flavor in the frozen broccoli.
2. Place the 2 tbsp of butter into the boiling water and the contents of the bag of frozen broccoli. Let the frozen broccoli boil for 5 minutes or until tender. Stir the broccoli occassionally.
3. Remove the tender broccoli from the boiling water with the slotted spoon. Place the broccoli directly in the bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. This will keep the broccoli looking fresh and green.
4. Remove the broccoli from the ice water after 1 minute. Place into the colander to drain. When the broccoli has drained, serve and enjoy your broccoli.
