Make An Easy Quiche Lorraine Recipe

A quiche Lorraine is a standard brunch dish.

Quiche Lorraine, named after the Lorraine region of France from which it originates, is basically an open egg pie that is baked with cheese and bacon. There are many variations on quiche Lorraine and many ways of preparing this dish. For an easy quiche Lorraine, turn to your blender to do the hard work of combining the ingredients until they are silky smooth and ready to incorporate. Purchase a precooked pie crust or pastry shell to make this recipe even easier.

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a prebaked pie crust or roll refrigerated pie dough into three 1/4-inch circles and line two 1/2-inch-high tart pans.

2. Combine the bacon slices, Swiss cheese, eggs, chives, whole milk, salt and pepper in a blender. Blend until ingredients are well mixed. Fill the pie crust or tart pans 3/4 full.

3. Bake in the preheated oven 20 to 25 minutes, until the quiche is lightly browned and firm. Remove from the oven, cool, slice and serve.
