A bouquet filled with chocolate candies is a great gift for a friend of loved one. It can make a much loved gift for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or Birthdays. Simply use a vase, gift box or basket for your centerpiece and you're able to quickly change the look of your gifts.
Instructions
1. Purchase two dozen chocolate candies. You can either use a soft, individually wrapped, chocolate candy, or small "fun size" bags of candy or candy bars.
2. Choose your centerpiece and then fill the bottom of it with floral foam, which is a green foam that florists use, or regular polystyrene. This will give you a sturdy place to stick your candy stems into. If you're using a clear glass vase, filling it with small individually wrapped chocolates will work well and look better than seeing the floral foam.
3. Attach your candies to the stems. If you're using soft chocolate candy or small candy bars, push the stem through the bottom of the chocolate slowly. If you're using small "fun size" bags of candy, tape the stems to the back of the bags with clear masking tape. You can purchase any artificial flower from a florist shop and cut the flower off to make your stem.
4. Take a 4-inch square piece of cellophane or colored tissue paper and wrap it around the stem. Poke the stem through the center of the paper and push it up close to the candy. Carefully twist the paper so it looks like a flower blooming around the candy.
5. Place the stems into the floral foam inside the gift container. Once all the stems are in place, crinkle and fold extra tissue paper or cellophane and stuff it in between the stems to give your bouquet a filled appearance.
