Creamy Velveeta Macaroni And Cheese

Creamy Velveeta Macaroni and Cheese

Macaroni and cheese is a favorite at any dinner table. It's one of those dishes that's good even when it's bad! This recipe is so simple you won't believe it, but it transforms ordinary into the extraordinary. Adding Velveeta cheese is common, but did you know the real secret is the cream cheese? Try this recipe and you'll never want ordinary Mac and Cheese again.

It is believed that macaroni has its origins in China and was brought to Italy by Marco Polo. It's been popular in Italy for over 500 years. By the eighteenth century, macaroni and cheese had become popular throughout Europe. When England began colonizing the America's, they brought the recipe along. It's now one of the most popular foods in the U.S.A.

Below is my version, and I hope you'll enjoy!

Instructions

1. Bring water to boil. Add cooking oil, pinch of salt, and Macaroni.

Cook until done, usually about 15 minutes.

2. When the macaroni has finished cooking, turn heat down to low, and add butter.

3. Blend well, then add the dry mix that comes with the Macaroni. Stir well, then add the milk, stirring constantly until well blended.

4. Add Velveeta cheese and cream cheese. Stir until melted and bubbly. Remove from heat and serve!
