Fix Crab Legs

When fixing crab legs, many people make the mistake of either boiling or steaming their crab legs. Most crab legs that you purchase in the store will be frozen, which means they have already been cooked for you, so fixing them is simply a matter of reheating the crab legs to the proper temperature. The best methods for doing this are microwaving, baking, or broiling.

Instructions

Microwave

1. Place frozen crab legs in a bowl and thaw in refrigerator overnight. Thawing and cooking in the microwave can overcook your crab legs.

2. Remove thawed crab legs from refrigerator and place in microwave-safe bowl.

3. Add 1 Tbsp. water per 8 oz. of crab legs to the bowl.

4. Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes per 8 oz.

Baking

5. Place frozen crab legs in a bowl and allow them to thaw in refrigerator over night.

6. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F.

7. Put crab legs on baking sheet and cook for 8 to 9 minutes. This method works best if the crab legs are whole. If the legs are split, then the crab legs are best prepared broiled.

Broil

8. If your crab legs are split, they are best prepared by broiling. Place frozen crab legs in a bowl and allow them to ghaw in refrigerator over night.

9. Brush your crab legs with butter or olive oil.

10. Broil for 3 minutes.
